In the age of electronic and digital equipments life is all about "colors". If we compare the 18th century (black and white age) with 21st century in all aspects of life (e.g., business, marketing, fashion, education, medicine, media.) than we are spending a life with all its colours. For all this advancement the only responsible thing is advanced photography. It is an art, accessory and basic need as well. Photography is an art to depict the colours of nature and thoughts of mind. It is a key to prosperity of many fields but the only field wholly dependent upon it is multimedia. Multimedia as name indicates is combination of all electronic and digital media (text, audio, video, graphics, animation and interactivity). It not only entertains the audience but also very informative for educational aspects. Multimedia is serving the universe by enhancing the creativity and opening the minds of youth for the betterment of life.

If we categorize the media than it comprises of 2 forms:

Linear multimedia
Non-linear multimedia

Linear multimedia consists of graphical presentations such as classroom presentations and cinema projections. Non-linear multimedia leads to interactivity and can be used as computer based training. Multimedia presentations can be recorded, live or even text. It allows interactivity through a proper navigational channeling. It could be presentation given by PowerPoint or could be a whole music concert live presentation.

Multimedia is found in different areas of interest, from medical to business, from mathematics to biology, science, research and engineering as well.

Multimedia has immense uses. Now in educational and professional work multimedia projector presentations are part of daily routine. These projectors cast a projection on a flat screen to convey the idea at a broad level. Projector accessories are very much similar in all kinds of projectors except a few things. It depends upon projector equipments available as well as type of projector being used. In market many types of projectors are available. Some of them are as follows:

• Slide projectors.
  
• LCD projector.
  
• Optical projectors.
  
• Overhead projectors.
  

A slide projector is used for the projection of photo slides. It has following accessories:

• An electric bulb with fan fitted cool system.
  
• A reflector or focusing lens.
  
• A holder for the slides.
  
• A lens for focusing
  

In slide projector light passes through slide and lens and image is enlarged by these and displayed on a flat white screen.
These projectors were common in 1950's and 1960's. Kodak slide projector was one of them. Kodak slide projector accessories were just with a little addition to normal slide projector that it contains a slide holder and a slid kit placed in projector and slide changing controller attached to it to switch from one slide to another without taking it out of projector and adding the new slide.

The overhead projector is also called transparency projector. Overhead projector accessories are a little different from slide projector as follows:

• More luminous bulb.
  
• White screen for projection.
  
• A frensel lens (collimates light.)
  
• A box for enclosing things.
  
• An electricity wire.
  

It was previously used but nowadays it is replaced by computer based LCD projector or interactive white boards.

LCD projectors (light crystal display) are basically monitoring of computer based data (images, videos, PowerPoint slides). It is advancement of overhead and slide projectors. LCD projector accessories are as follows:

• Halogen lamp (for light)
  
• Three LCD panels (red green, blue)
  
• Combination of polarizer.
  
• Analyzer.
  
• Mixture of open and closed pixels.
  
• A flat screen.
  

Light passes through panels, analyzers and pixels to exhibit different colours and shades of image on screen. Halogen lamp is used to give more light in a small area with perfect light temperature and broad spectrum of colours. It is controlled by mouse and keyboard of computer.

The very advance projector is movie projector also called optical projector. It work is opto-mechanical projection. It is based on clinical phenomenon called flicker fusion threshold (frequency at which flicker becomes visible).images on a reel are projected at the rate of 16/sec and make it visible like a real movie. Optical projector accessories are as follows:

• Incandescent lamp.
  
• Electric arc light.
  
• Reflector and condenser lens.
  
• Change over dowser or shutter.
  
• Shutter
  
• Film gate and single image.
  
• Imaging lens and aperture plate.
  
• Viewing screen.

Projector screens and accessories are very important to study if one is working with these. Screens are flat and blank medium. Its size depends upon the size of projection caused by projector. Projection on screen can be vied in dim light and dark light in room.

Most of the projectors have also the projector cases by default given by company. But it is best to keep projectors in case to avoid any harm to lens as well as other machinery.

Projector cases accessories are mostly:

• An extra bulb.
  
• Leeds and wires for attachment to computer.
  
• Slide holder.etc.
  

Projectors are very helpful and presentations given by them are very informative and interesting. It enhances the interactivity among people and helps them to guide each other and clear their point of view.
